Simple No-Bake Energy Bars made with all-natural ingredients.

This homemade granola/energy bars are made with simple, all-natural ingredients —  rolled oats, dates, honey and a whole lot of highly packed nutrients. The healthy carbs give you the energy to last all day long!

The dates are called nature’s candy because they are sweet like candy without eating artificial sugars. They are the perfect base for these no-bake energy bars. Honey is used as a sweetener and binder instead of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup.

There’s no baking involved. Just place the bars in the refrigerator for an hour to allow them to chill and set up. They taste great and are incredibly easy to make.

In this recipe, you see almonds, cashews, dried cranberries, dried blueberry’s pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds and flaxseeds, the possibilities are endless — all you need to know is the base. Oats, ground dates and honey. After that, add what you like.

No Bake Energy Bars

Simple No-Bake Energy Bars made with all-natural ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/4th cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/4th cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4th cup almonds

  • 1/4th cup cashew nuts

  • 1/4th cup blueberries

  • 1/4th cup cranberries

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 2tbsp flaxseeds

  • 1 cup dates, pitted

  • 1 cup rolled oats

Directions

  • Line a tray with parchment paper, leave handles just to easily remove the mixture out of the mold.
  • Grind the pitted dates to a paste.
  • Dry roast the almonds and cashew nuts for about 3 mins
  • Now dry roast the oats for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add all the ingredients except for the ground dates and honey into a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Now add in the ground dates and honey and mix well using clean hands.
  • Once its all combined pour the mixture in a lined baking tray.
  • Press and flatten the mixture using a spoon or ladle. You can add some more dried berries if you like and press with the back of the spoon again.
  • Chill in refrigerator for about an hour.
  • Once its set, remove the mixture from the mold using the handles on the side and cuts into desired shape. Enjoy these No Bake Energy Bards at any time of the day.

Notes

  • This recipe yields about 10 bars shaped rectangular in shape.
  • You can store them in the refrigerator in an air tight container or a zip lock for about 2 weeks.
