Ingredients

  • ½ cup luke warm water

  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted (check notes)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 cup flour/maida

  • Oil/butter for seasoning the pan

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to the blender starting with the wet. Keep aside for the bubbles to settle.
  • Place a pan on medium to low heat and season the pan with some oil/butter and wipe clean with a tissue.
  • Lift the pan from the heat and pour enough batter to cover the pan. Swirl the pan as you pour the batter.
  • Once the sides start to turn golden brown flip the crepe and leave for about 30 seconds and then remove.
  • Transfer the crepe into a cutting board or plate. Do not fold till it has come to room temperature.
  • Repeat the same with the rest of the batter.
  • You can fill the crepes with filling of your choice, since its valentines I decided to spread come Nutella and top it with strawberry.
  • Now fold into triangle and serve with dusting of powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If using unsalted butter just add 1/2 tsp salt to the mixture.
  • Crepe batter can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for upto a day. Make sure to give it a good stir before cooking as it might separate slightly while chilling.
