Ingredients
4nos/200grms drumstick, cut into pieces
1/4th tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
2 cups water
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp jeera/cumin
1/4th tsp hing
1/4th tsp pepper powder
Directions
- Pressure cook the drumsticks with water, turmeric and salt for 3-4 whistles
- Let the pressure release naturally then, open the cooker and let the drumsticks come to room temperature.
- Transfer them to the blender and grind to a fine paste along with the stock (water from the cooked drumsticks).
- Place a strainer on a bowl and transfer the blended mixture onto it. Now Press the mixture done with a help of a ladle or spoon. Discard the fiber left out on the strainer (don’t forget to scrape from the bottom of the strainer). Keep this aside.
- Heat some ghee in a pan, add jeera, hing and the drumstick pulp and mix well.
- Adjust the salt, add some pepper powder and bring to a boil. Drumstick Soup is now ready. Serve Hot!
