Cucumber buttermilk is made by blending chopped cucumber along with curd or yogurt, spices and herbs.
Cucumber is a summer must-have vegetable as it is high in water content. It keeps the body cool and also helps to detoxify the body. The already healthy buttermilk becomes healthier by adding cucumber to it.

Ingredients
1 medium english cucumber, diced
½ cup curd
Few mint leaves
1 tsp roasted cumin/jeera powder
1 tsp chat masala
½ tsp black salt
½ cup water
Directions
- Into a blender add all the above ingredients and blend till smooth.
- Check and add salt if required.
- Refrigerate and serve chilled or serve immediately with ice cubes.
Notes
- In this recipe I have used english cucumber. however, you can also use regular cucumber but make sure to peel and deseed before adding to the blender
