Easy and super refreshing, this Watermelon Basil Cooler is a perfect summer drink to beat the heat!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Watermelon, chopped into bite size

  • 5-6 basil leaves

  • 2 tsp sugar (optional)

  • juice of half a lime

Directions

  • Cut the watermelon and remove seeds if any. Chop them and add into the blender along with basil leaves, sugar and lime juice
  • Blend it into the your desired consistency.
  • Serve it with ice. You can also store it in an airtight glass container in the fridge for 1-2 days.

Notes

  • Instead of white sugar you can add brown sugar. Adding sugar is totally optional.
  • You can blend it into a smooth consistency and strain if you don’t like it pulpy.
