This Mandarin Orange Salad is fresh and loaded with flavor. Crispy mixed salad greens, tangy juicy oranges and candied walnuts tossed in homemade salad dressing is so delicious bursting with flavours.

I love how light and fresh this salad is and it takes just a few ingredients and minimal time for the preparation.

This salad is so versatile…you can really add in anything and it would still be just as delicious! Just make sure to keep in the mandarin oranges because that’s what makes the whole salad recipe! Also recommend not the skip the candied walnuts.

For the candied walnut, keep a parchment paper on a heat proof plate and set aside. Place a skittle on medium to high heat and add in the walnuts (about 1 cup) and brown sugar (about 1/4th cup) stir constantly and reduce the flame if need be. Gradually you will see the nuts get darker, glossy and begins to clump together. Once the sugar is completely melted and coated all over the nuts transfer it into the parchment paper and spread the nuts so that they are in a single layer. Let it cool to room temperature and then break apart with your fingers

Here is how to make this fresh and flavourful salad. Do try this and let me know how you liked it!
